Responsibilities
- As the lead developer, you will be tasked with implementing various functionalities outlined in design documents
- Oversee portions of ongoing projects, assist in managing teams, and ensure timely adherence to deadlines
- Synchronize, plan, and monitor tasks and activities
- Aid in identifying, escalating, and resolving any technical issues and challenges that arise
- Guarantee design compliance with specifications and client requirements
- The lead developer assures that the Scrum team can process stakeholder demand and produce a versioned platform
- Requires skills in organizing and delivering with Agile teams, along with database and coding capabilities, and sustaining communication with stakeholders and partners
Requirements
- At least 7 years of active software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java SE/Java EE
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design
- Background in Agile development practices
- Proficiency in algorithms and design patterns
- Broad knowledge of Spring, JMS, JPA, Maven, Unit testing and continuous build tools (Jenkins/Hudson), Design Patterns, UML, SQL, HTTP, XML, JUnit is desirable
- Familiarity with public cloud services, preferably AWS
- Background in Big Data technologies is beneficial
- Comprehensive understanding of various coding methodologies, testing practices, and tools and knowledge of appropriate application
- Capability to support their team
- Fluency in English is required
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
