Cloud Support Engineer (Infrastructure - CN) Description
EPAM Systems provides 24/7 support services for users of a major cloud platform.
The support team is distributed across multiple locations. We are hiring a Cloud Support Engineer to extend our multi-language team, based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

Responsibilities
- Manage customer technical support issues by providing resolutions or recommendations related to IAAS products and services, as part of a global 24x7 support organization
- Handle incident management, problem management, and change management manage change requests and incident tickets for the remaining Infrastructure Teams
- Adhere to notification and escalation procedures, and maintain communication standards with businesses involving operational issues
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience as a Systems Engineer or System Administrator
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Windows Server as the Administrator level
- Experience with shell scripting, cloud computing, virtualization and other cloud solutions
- Business-level English skills + native fluency in Chinese
- Experience in Kubernetes, Docker containers, computer networking (NAT, DNS, firewalls, basic routing, load balancing, etc.), and coding ability in one or more languages (Java, Python, C++, etc.) are plus
