Data Scientist (LLM) Description
This role involves a blend of data science and engineering tasks, such as developing, fine-tuning, and deploying LLM-based solutions. The incumbent will leverage their expertise in AI, LLMs, and data science to create, optimize, and implement LLM models in real-world applications.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and refine LLM models to align with specific business needs
- Integrate LLMs into applications using the latest tools and frameworks
- Perform in-depth data analysis to derive insights and guide project direction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed LLM solutions into business operations
- Develop and test LLM prompts or solutions to assess performance, effectiveness, hallucination, and stability
- Ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of LLM models, monitoring performance and making necessary adjustments
- Stay informed about industry trends and technologies to improve LLM practices
- Maintain detailed documentation of methodologies and processes
- Share LLM expertise with the team and clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong Python programming proficiency
- Expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision Language Models (VLMs)
- Deep understanding of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and its variants
- Proficiency in prompt engineering techniques and LLM application frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Solid grasp of similarity search algorithms and vector databases
- Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning, evaluation metrics, and experiment tracking tools
- Strong data science, software engineering, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS), and MLOps
