Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and security
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new applications into production environments
- Monitoring system performance and identifying opportunities for optimization and cost savings
- Developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies
- Providing technical support to internal and external customers as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience and strong knowledge of Linux operating system, including RedHat Linux, CentOS, and Ubuntu
- Proficient in shell scripting using Python or Bash and familiarity with package management tools such as apt-get and yum
- Experience with network administration, including firewall configuration and network security
- Knowledge of database administration principles and practices
