Responsibilities
- Perform testing and automate test routines for varied data storage technologies, including clustered and network file systems
- Create and update test automation scripts utilizing Pytest
- Draft integration test scripts for implementation in Continuous Integration (CI) systems
- Troubleshoot scripts on physical hardware to pinpoint and solve issues
- Collaborate with software developers in the Scrum framework to guarantee top-quality software development and delivery
- Consistently enhance our automation methodologies and tools to boost testing efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- Experience in software development with a minimum of 2-3 years, especially in distributed storage systems
- Strong expertise in Python
- Familiarity with Linux & Networking
- Understanding of testing distributed file systems, network protocols, and parallel file systems
- Profound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based setting
- Adaptability to learn and adjust swiftly to new technological subjects and environments
