IT Support Office Specialist Description

Join our dynamic team as an IT Support Office Specialist! We are seeking a professional with a broad IT background who is bilingual in English and Japanese.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee office environment, including building announcements, office access management, vendor registration, and internal systems management
  • Handle payment processes and invoice management including vendor onboarding, and ensuring contracts meet legal requirements
  • Maintain office health and safety, enforce protective policies, and manage office supplies, that involve tasks such as mail routing and courier services management
  • Assist in organizing internal and external company events, manage appointments with providers and clients, and support travel/visa arrangements both in and out of Japan
  • Perform various administrative and people operations duties as required, including managing company expenses and petty cash, and catering to ad-hoc requests and projects
  • Provide comprehensive IT onsite support service including local IT asset management operations and ensure the accuracy of the IT inventory
  • Work closely with the management team to complete all other assigned duties, tasks, or projects, contributing to the smooth operation of the business
  • Regularly maintain local IT infrastructure to ensure all compliance and security requirements are fully met

What You Have

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in working as an IT Support Specialist
  • Proficiency in Windows client & MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with common IT peripherals, like printers, projectors, etc
  • Basic knowledge of Chromebook and Mac OS is beneficial
  • A fundamental understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively either under supervision or independently
  • Strong communication skills and team collaboration
  • Native fluency in Japanese; also a good command of English
