ABOUT THE ROLE



EPAM is actively recruiting an accomplished Account Director to spearhead the development of our manufacturing-focused portfolio in Germany, with a keen focus on MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and IoT (Internet of Things).

In this pivotal role, you will oversee key client relationships, ensuring portfolio growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. Collaborating closely with the delivery organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless project delivery and effective management of expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing clients and provide high level consulting support across topics such as IOT, Automation and MES Platforms
  • Coordinate customer proposals and statements of work
  • Own the Account Plan, ensuring a deep understanding of clients and market dynamics
  • Manage portfolio PnL and engage in new business development
  • Collaborate with clients for successful project delivery, managing expectations
  • Ensure adherence to EPAM processes, addressing issues during engagements
  • Oversee project management, identifying and managing risks
  • Implement projects successfully with a focus on deliverability, performance, and cost-effectiveness

Requirements

  • Fluency in German is required
  • 8 years of experience in managing account or portfolio of accounts in the German market with ability to regularly visit customers offices in this area
  • Industries: Manufacturing/IOT and Automation/MES. Actionable network in these industries
  • Hunger to consultatively sell new services, with a demonstrated track record of over delivery against targets
  • Ability to consult with CXO level stakeholders on trends & opportunities within Digital, Business & Technology transformation
  • Senior Account Management experience and experience managing and working with offshore application development teams
  • Experience of outsourcing account/delivery management
  • Strong understanding of software development, business consultancy and design
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and planning skills are necessary
  • Self-motivated, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, a quick-thinker, be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
