We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer experienced in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly in ETL processing, to work on a financial services project.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in our team's efforts to transition existing on-premises solution (comprising Informatica PowerCenter flows, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence) to GCP's cloud-native services. Also, you will be involved in the discovery and design phase, where you’ll help shape the future solution that will subsequently be implemented.
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer experienced in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly in ETL processing, to work on a financial services project.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in our team's efforts to transition existing on-premises solution (comprising Informatica PowerCenter flows, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence) to GCP's cloud-native services. Also, you will be involved in the discovery and design phase, where you’ll help shape the future solution that will subsequently be implemented.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain GCP Dataflow jobs
- Produce different objects in BigQuery utilizing requirements
- Design DAG templates
- Contribute to SDLC processes through GitHub actions
- Make firewall rules for different components
- Create Secrets for different integrations
- Review code from other team members
- Analyze and improve existing systems, services and infrastructure
- Develop and integrate new functionality in close collaboration with the development team from the client side
- Request different services or permissions from Central Cloud Engineering team through establish process in JIRA
What You Have
- Experience in data products on GCP like BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer
- Good business acumen
- English level B2+
Nice to have
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certified
- Skills in Google Cloud Dataflow
- Experience in Java/Python/Scala
