You are an industry visionary with a passion for designing and supporting Oracle database systems. You have a unique expertise in GoldenGate and want to impact an international direct-to-consumer organization. If it sounds like you – join us as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to work with the customer’s Data Services team and help them with automation.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of database administration: installation, upgrades, configuration, backup, recovery, security, performance analysis and capacity planning for single instance, standby and clustered environments.
Take the freedom to work remotely across the country or meet with teammates in our office. You will make the most out of thinking and acting like a start-up while staying in a highly professional corporate setting.

What You Have
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle
- Excellent understanding of core Oracle concepts and architecture
- At least B2 (Upper-Intermediate) English level or higher, both written and verbal
What you will do
- Design, configure and maintain database
- Support database migration between on-prem and cloud environments
- Analyze data access patterns and identify hotspots and bottlenecks
- Design and review data models and help engineers plan high performing queries
- Define and establish best practices with Oracle, including configuration, monitoring the cluster health and backups
- Manage storage the cluster capacity and help plan for growth based on future project goals
- Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues as needed
Nice to have
- Skill in GoldenGate
- Knowledge of Exadata and RAC
- Experience with Linux/Unix servers
- Understanding of CI/CD (Jenkins and/or GitLab) and project life-cycle principles
- Familiarity with AWS technologies
