VP, Business Consulting - San Francisco Bay Area Description

Responsibilities
- Lead strategic engagements, doing billable client work that involves planning, selecting, and delivering solutions for our clients
- Manage and oversee large complex transformational programs
- Identify and drive business development activities by assessing opportunities, designing solutions, developing proposals/SOWs, and establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients, and helping to close new deals
- Align with EPAM Account Managers and Senior Leadership to co-develop and support account plans and strategies for delivery, growth, and client satisfaction
- Work with our national business consulting team to devise differentiated strategic and technology solutions to help clients solve industry challenges
- Stay abreast of current and emerging business and technology challenges, as well as the nuanced differences in markets, business models and geographies in which our clients operate
- Contribute to thought leadership, such as presentations and white papers, to strengthen industry expertise and marketing efforts
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in an established consulting firm environment. A blend of consulting and industry is also acceptable. This experience must include leading projects or workstreams, business transformation efforts and/or change management activities
- Ability to combine technical experience with other strong management and leadership skills, specifically expertise in program management, business case development, and/or data analysis
- Comfortable working in large complex programs with ability to operate in lean teams with significant hands-on skills
- Working understanding of agile methodology, agile software development, and agile practices
- Practical experience in capturing client requirements, mapping processes, conducting hypotheses-based analysis, creating business cases, evaluating and presenting solutions
- Proven ability to operate independently at client locations
- Skilled at analyzing complex business issues with the ability to effectively communicate issues to clients
- Executive level verbal and written communication skills are required
- Management in a consulting or combination consulting/industry role
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencer skills
- Industry preferences: Technology, Automotive, and Telecommunication
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
