Currently we are looking for Senior Test Automation Engineers with Java knowledge for our Zürich office to make our team even stronger.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain automated QA testing framework (follow trends, technologies and best practices. Participate in technical decisions about automation architecture)
- Test analysis, test case design and test execution; expand the coverage of new and existing functionalities. (Manual test & Automated test area)
- Keep the eye on possible innovations
- Help define and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Proactively share knowledge and expertise with client stakeholders
- Review test automation code written by other team members (and supervise coding standards)
- Mentor junior team members regarding test automation approaches and best practices
Requirements
- Professional work experience in a Software Automated QA Engineer role
- Experience with Selenium-WebDriver based tools
- Practical experience writing automation scripts for Web applications and Web services (REST based)
- Working experience with Java, Maven, Cucumber and Git
- Ability to write basic SQL and understand more complex ones
- Hands-on experience delivering automation with a focus on Continuous Integration/Continuous Development. (Jenkins, TFS, ...)
- Exposure to Azure is nice to have
- Efficient usage of Design Patterns and OOP
- Good understanding and practice of creating Clean and excellent quality program code
- Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in Agile SDLC
- Ability to train and mentor junior engineers
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, independent, and proactive with good problem-solving skills
