Due to ongoing growth EPAM Systems is expanding its finance organization and now in the process of establishing additional Accounting Shared Service Centre in Poland, Gdansk.

Currently we are looking for Payroll Accountant for our Global shared service Payroll accounting team located in Gdansk.


  • US GAAP accounting of LTI expenses and vested LTI (journal entries preparation), incl taxes
  • Month close LTI accounting (additional tax accruals calculation, tracking, cut-off entries, reconciliation, reports preparation etc.)
  • Handle payroll for some EU subsidiaries (info preparation, communication with HR team and external agencies, SOX control files preparation etc.)
  • Analysis and reconciliation of payroll through all internal systems
  • US GAAP bookkeeping of payroll-related activities for a number of EPAM subsidiaries
  • Monthly BS&PL variance analysis
  • Deal with audit requests and participating in regular meetings with external and internal auditors
  • Participate in regular improvement process activities with other teams, active analysis of areas of improvement and testing of new improvements
  • Ad-hoc reports by request


  • High economic education (Finance/Accounting)
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience as Payroll Accountant/Senior payroll accountant/Auditor (incl. payroll)
  • Experience in LTI accounting (advantage)
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS accounting principles (ACCA/DipIFR is advantage)
  • Intermediate English level at least
  • Excellent MS office skills, especially Excel
  • Working experience with ERP systems (SAP is advantage)
  • High personal responsibility, attentiveness to details, ability to control and process information that comes from many different sources
