Lead Demandware Developer

Currently we are looking for a Lead Demandware Developer for our Lviv office to make the team even stronger.

Our customer is a famous American fashion brand of women’s clothing, designer shoes and accessories. The company operates in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia. The company's net worth is more than US $1 billion.

You will join our cross-locational development team: New York (customer's office), Lviv (EPAM), St-Petersburg (EPAM).
Areas of work:
- Business features enablement;
- Site re-redesign;
- Smooth migration to new SOA/Micro-Services architecture;
- Extending Demandware (SFCC) OCAPI;
- 3rd party services integration.


  • Hands-on experience with Demandware (SFCC) platform at least 4 years;
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (from ES5 to ES2018);
  • Good understanding of SiteGenesis architecture and functionality;
  • General awareness of MFRA architecture and principles;
  • Software architecting skills. Microservices, SOA, monolite approaches, good understanding of patterns, general knowledge of modeling techniques;
  • Practical experience in front-end development using modern frameworks (React, Angular etc.);
  • Understanding of the principles of SPA and Web-Services implementation;
  • REST/SOAP approaches;
  • OCAPI;
  • Demandware frameworks: Services, Jobs, Forms, TDD;
  • Pipelines and Controllers;
  • General concepts of CI/CD;
  • Merchandizing features of Demandware (Business Manager);
  • Adaptive, responsive, mixed design;
  • jQuery, Bootstrap;
  • Would be a plus: Node.js, Express.js;
  • Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English or higher;
  • Leadership experience is a must;
  • High communication skills.
