Currently we are looking for a Senior UX Designer for our Kharkiv office to make the team even stronger.

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer that will join our special forces design team to live on and fight for cutting-edge products and services design. Key Skills are User Experience Design, Visual Design, Prototyping, Product evaluation, Responsive Web Design (RWD).

Our customer is a global retailer of headwear, accessories and apparel lines for men, women and youth. Its products are sold in more than 80 countries. EPAM is engaged with our customer to drive long-term digital strategy including B2C eCommerce as the first “pilot” step to design, build and launch across US and Canada an elevated digital brand experience for the new online B2C eCommerce store within 6 months’ period.


  • Extrapolate product vision as a synthesis of user needs and business goals;
  • Conduct kick off meetings with customers;
  • Document client requirements on initial phases of project;
  • Make precise estimations;
  • Make and deliver UX Artifacts (such as personas, scenarios, journey maps, user flows, sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes) that matches with project needs;
  • Design low - high fidelity wireframes and prototypes;
  • Validate and evaluate your ideas with stakeholders and users;
  • Work independently and as part of design team;
  • Provide analysis, synthesis, and documentation of usability issues in a test report;
  • Write expert reviews;
  • Mentor more Junior designers;
  • Participate in design workshops.


  • 5+ years of relevant design experience, with a good understanding of User Centered Design Methodology;
  • Strong understanding of User Experience Design processes, methods and artifacts (what, how, when);
  • Responsive web (including web experience for mobile) is a must;
  • Portfolio that representing your UX and Visual skills;
  • Understanding of UX Workshops – types, activities and how to use them;
  • Ability to create multichannel experiences (desktop – mobile - tablet);
  • Ability to explain design decisions to experts and laypeople;
  • Customer-facing experience – communicating, presenting, explaining and advocating your ideas;
  • Strong skills in prototyping and Wireframing;
  • Understanding of how to evaluate your and stakeholder’s ideas;
  • Ability to work within both Agile and Waterfall environments;
  • Ability to estimate and delegate work to less experienced designers and take responsibility to deliver on time;
  • Ability to work with a few projects simultaneously;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Ability and willingness to learn;
  • Ability to solve the problems in efficient and diplomatic way;
  • Take well a reasoned critique and a feedback;
  • Experience in native mobile will be a plus;
  • Visual Design skills will be a plus;
  • Experience in conducting workshops with stakeholders will be a plus;
  • Good spoken and written English.
