EPAM is seeking a professional with strong leadership and management skills, well-versed in data networking and telecommunications, who will be able to relentlessly drive changes spanning his/her leadership across several functional groups – security, telephony, datacenter & cloud.
We offer frequent business trips and relocation support for this position.
Global network topology planning, elaboration of underlying architecture, supervision of its implementation;
Capacity planning, continuity planning, service level management and change management for network services & telecommunication services;
Definition and implementation of operational procedures and disaster recovery procedures for network services & telecommunication services;
Management of networking & telecommunication support team;
Budget planning and P&L management.
Ability to lead disruptive changes and overcome organizational inertia in an old-established department;
Strong people management skills;
Solid leadership skills;
Independence in hiring and firing-related issues;
Financial management experience in an IT department (budget planning cycle);
Previous experience working as one of the following:
IT Director at an international company of 1,000+ employees;
Senior IT Manager with experience managing global data networks at a company of 10,000 + employees;
At an IT company of 20,000+ employees and being in charge of global networking, telecommunications;
Head of data transmission or global networking department at a telecommunications company.
Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English;
Readiness for frequent business trips (6-8 weeks a year).
