Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the SAP Basis team in operational and strategic activities
- Oversee SAP HANA and SAP RISE administration, upgrades, enhancements and defect fixes
- Administer and maintain SAP environments, including installation, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement SAP solutions
- Develop and implement SAP system monitoring and optimization strategies
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection regulations
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners for SAP support
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Prepare and manage budgets related to SAP infrastructure and resource allocation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP Basis management, including SAP HANA and SAP RISE
- Proven track record of successful SAP system implementations and migrations
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, database management, and cloud solutions
- Leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make informed decisions under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in interacting with stakeholders at all levels
- English proficiency at a professional level
Nice to have
- SAP certification in HANA
- SAP certification in SAP RISE
- Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 architecture
- Familiarity with SAP integration technologies such as PI/PO
- Skills in scripting and automation tools for SAP operations
