Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire migration process from Slack to MS Teams
  • Provide expert guidance on migration strategies and their implementation
  • Formulate customized migration plans to fulfill the specific requirements of the client
  • Resolve any issues or concerns users may have during the transition to MS Teams
  • Ensure readiness to operate within the EST time zone to support the primary user base
  • Establish and enforce MS Teams best practices throughout the organization
  • Guide and assist users in achieving proficiency with MS Teams
  • Evaluate and report on the adoption and performance of MS Teams
  • Collaborate intensively with IT departments to achieve a seamless integration of MS Teams with existing organizational infrastructure

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer, specializing in MS Teams
  • A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or team management role
  • Proven experience in managing at least 2 full-cycle projects or multiple projects across different phases of the development lifecycle
  • Detailed understanding of Slack’s features and its integration potential
  • Skilled in the deployment and management of Microsoft 365 Apps
  • In-depth knowledge in the setup, migration, and administration of MS Teams
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and users
  • Proficiency in English, with at least a B2 level of proficiency

Nice to have

  • Experience with additional communication and collaboration tools beyond Slack and MS Teams
  • Certifications related to Microsoft 365
