Senior Coveo Developer Description
As a Senior Coveo Developer, you will have the unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge search technologies and platforms such as Coveo, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch. This role is instrumental in developing and enhancing search functionalities for high-impact projects, such as integrating AI into the internal SAP Corporate Search and working on other AI-driven products. As a key member of EPAM's project team, you will be able to influence our clients and establish yourself as a leading professional in search technology markets.

Responsibilities
- Develop advanced front-end applications using Node.js, Coveo, and search technologies like Elasticsearch
- Enhance search capabilities within ServiceNow and SAP using the Coveo SAAS platform
- Implement best practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and agile methodologies
- Provide code reviews and consulting, focusing on optimizing search performance and integrating AI functionalities
- Contribute to system architecture, ensuring scalability and efficiency while continuously monitoring application performance
- Collaborate closely with project teams, manage coding tasks, and continuously learn about new technologies
- Handle project needs, from requirement gathering to routine maintenance, ensuring effective communication and project success
Requirements
- Solid expertise in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript), with substantial experience in Node.js and Coveo
- Knowledge of search engine technologies (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch) and experience with AI functionalities in search
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and experience in deploying SAAS platforms
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and multi-tasking skills
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
