We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to play a key role within our cross-functional scrum team, assigned to a specific business capability POD.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate substantial expertise in Java and Spring Framework, serving as an essential contributor to backend solutions that optimize business operations.

Responsibilities
- Develop Java codebase with accuracy and efficiency
- Enhance and sustain existing code for optimal functionality
- Design back-end microservices along with REST APIs
- Conduct unit testing to verify software reliability
- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Advocate for best practices like unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration
- Participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies for better team synergy
- Contribute to estimation and planning discussions for streamlined project management
- Provide mentorship and insights to junior and mid-level developers
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years relevant development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
- Competency in constructing APIs and familiarity with microservices architecture
- Background in financial services, especially wealth management, is valued
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken at C1+ level)
