Junior Game Tester Description

We are looking for a passionate Junior Game Tester to become a part of our newly established Performance Playtesting Team. In this position, you will contribute to delivering a top-quality gaming experience and fostering a balanced competitive environment for gamers of all abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Execute playtesting activities for multiple game titles, including structured test-case-based evaluations as well as exploratory-style testing
  • Prepare consoles and mobile devices for playtesting sessions
  • Utilize the necessary tools required to complete daily tasks
  • Document identified defects
  • Fill out playtesting questionnaires

Requirements

  • Active engagement as a gamer across multiple titles, platforms, and genres
  • Understanding of PC/Windows systems
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality when working with sensitive client data
  • Flexibility to participate in planned weekend overtime shifts once per quarter
  • Work from office, starting 9-9:30 AM (UTC -04)
  • A2+ written and B1 spoken level of English

Nice to have

  • Background in game testing (including A/B playtesting) and functional testing
  • Understanding of functional testing principles: methodologies, workflows, and tools
  • Proficiency in documenting bugs using Jira
