Our teams work in highly agile working environments for Fortune 1000 clients, following XP practices and best CI/CD practices. We are looking for a Lead Big Data Engineer with open-minded personality, who can join our friendly environment and become a core contributor to our team of experts.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, design, and implement innovative analytical solutions using any language (Python, Scala, Java)
- Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture to help drive decisions
- Build collaborative partnerships with architects and key individuals within other functional groups
- Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing quality technical solution
- Actively participate in code review and test solutions to ensure it meets best practice specifications
- Build and foster a high-performance engineering culture, mentor team members, and provide the team with the tools and motivation
What You Have
- Good hands-on experience with Python or Java or Scala
- Strong experience and knowledge in Spark/PySpark
- Wide knowledge and experience working with any Cloud technology (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Good understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
- Experience in technology/team leading of data oriented projects
- English proficiency
- Team player and proactive attitude
Nice to have
- DevOps knowledge/experience, including: Kubernetes, Docker, advanced AWS, CI/CD
