We are hiring Cloud professionals to extend our multi language Cloud Support team, based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. As a Cloud Support Engineer / Infra Specialist, you will provide support for Cloud technologies such as Cloud Security, DevOps, DevTools, Service Usage API and others.

DESCRIPTION
EPAM Systems provides 24/7 support services for users of a major Cloud platform. The Support team is distributed across multiple locations. We are hiring Cloud professionals to extend our multi language Cloud Support team, based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. As a Cloud Support Engineer / Infra Specialist, you will provide support for Cloud technologies such as Cloud Security, DevOps, DevTools, Service Usage API and others.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer technical support issue, by providing a resolution or recommendations to IAAS product and services related
- Provide technical assistance and support as part of a global 24x7 support organization
- Work closely with engineers and product managers to improve the service and make our customers successful
- Provide technical support to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions and APIs
- Follow standards for communications with business involving operational issues
Requirements
- At least 3+ years’ experience fully as Systems Engineer or System Administrator
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Windows Server as Administrator level
- Experience with shell scripting
- Experience with cloud computing, virtualization and other cloud solutions
- Strong business ownership and customer support experience
- Native Mandarin communication (reading/writing/speaking)
- Business level English (B2)
Nice to have
- Experience in Kubernetes, Docker containers
- Experience with computer networking (NAT, DNS, firewalls, basic routing, load balancing, etc.)
- Coding ability in one or more languages (Java, Python, C++, etc)
- Business level Japanese a plus
