Are you passionate about creating innovative digital systems and experiences? Have you led multi-disciplinary programs across multiple digital channels that engage and excite consumers? Are you obsessive about pixel-perfection, micro-interactions and the finesse of efficient and graceful experiences? Do you develop and apply an understanding of users’ behaviors to create compelling digital experiences?

The UX Strategist role crosses UX and Strategy disciplines and will work within the Strategy & Innovation practice in designing new Product Value Propositions, Visions and experiences with an eye on the holistic omnichannel system, with the aim of change and innovate those services.

Responsibilities

  • Join programs focused on understanding user/consumer and business needs to translate them into future compelling whitespaces, and omni or multi-channel experiences
  • Be able to investigate and understand business and brand context as applied to design strategy
  • Champion excellent user-centered design standards, User research, Human Centered Design
  • Facilitate workshops with clients to support them through a participatory design process
  • Create strategies, wireframes, prototypes, design systems
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of the Experience Design approach, with the ability to apply them flexibly across a variety of project types
  • Ideate and co-design with peers and clients in a positive and collaborative manner
  • Lead UX aspects of design projects including user research, usability testing activities, analysis and development of customer journey maps and prototypes
  • Clearly communicate strategic vision and design decisions to varied audiences
  • Translate UX strategies into tangible on-screen experiences, while understanding the connection at an organizational level or physical touchpoints
  • System thinking in relation to holistic digital environments, considering relationships among them
  • Understand technical constraints and opportunities
  • Present design work confidently to stakeholders and build trusting relationships
  • Stay up to date with latest design and technology trends
  • Provide UX design solutions across various touchpoints (e.g. websites, mobile, apps, stores, …)
  • An understanding of relevant technologies for desktop and mobile and interest in emerging technologies such as AR/VR and IoT
  • High-level knowledge of front-end development
  • Collaborate with experts in different domains such as strategists, engineers, video artists, architects, human factor experts and brand experience designers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in user experience, information architecture, UX strategy or interaction design roles
  • Client-facing consultation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in interaction, responsive and service design, and usability best practices
  • Proven experience with user flows, IA, site maps and wireframes, and with creating interactive prototypes at various levels of fidelity
  • Ability to lead discovery, user research, and user testing activities and deliverables
  • Expert experience with modern design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch & Figma
  • Experience working on both small and big complex UX engagements
  • Experience working with and developing design systems
  • Ability to accurately estimate and delegate work so that it is delivered on time and on budget
  • Enjoy working closely in a team with people who possess diverse skills and working styles
  • Are willing to travel approximately 20%-30% of each year for project work
