If the answer to these is ‘Yes!’, then EPAM has a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as Senior Mobile Solution Architect and be part of our rapidly growing Digital Engagement Practice (DEP) in Dublin.

The DEP Practice comprises around 7,500 EPAMers globally and Ireland is a fast growing part of our business where we are working with a variety of large clients.

This is a great opportunity to play a highly visible working closely with our DEP leadership teams and tech teams in Dublin and wider Europe.
The position requires a strong background in technical consulting, architecture and Mobile Apps development with the ability to work closely with a clients to help drive their projects forward.

Responsibilities

  • Development of proposals for implementation and design of Mobile Architecture
  • End-to-end architecture design including frontend, web services, middle tier, and backend
  • Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement mobile solutions which includes reference architectures, estimates, and costing
  • Participating in the client conversations during the presales, short and long-term consulting engagements
  • Provide technical leadership, project guidance, and business development in various mobile technology areas
  • Advise business and technology delivery leadership on how to translate the client’s mobile business requirements into mobile technology solutions
  • Participation in customer’s workshops and provide presentations of the proposed solution
  • Perform analysis best practices and emerging concepts in mobile application, mobile devices, operating systems, and mobile middleware platforms
  • Acts as a technical liaison between clients, service engineering teams and support
  • Define common business and development processes, platform and tools usage for mobile solutions and delivery
  • Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture
  • Serve as a mobile evangelist providing thought leadership, participating in conferences, authoring white papers, etc
  • Mentoring of colleagues who are moving toward Solution Architecture title
  • Perform profiling, troubleshooting of existing solutions
  • Create technical documentation

Requirements

  • Strong industry experience as a Mobile Solution Architect
  • Strong mobile background experience - hybrid and native
  • Domain knowledge in Android, iOS, Swift, React Native, Flutter, Xamarin, Cordova and Capacitor based technologies
  • Experience with major Cloud Vendors (in the context of mobile apps integration, for example AWS Amplify, GCP Firebase, Azure Mobile Services and MS AppCenter) and Mobile-specific services (e.g. Push Notifications, Analytics)
  • Strong understanding of migration of enterprise, business critical, client facing Mobile Apps
  • Ability to do back-end and Front-end migration strategy and roadmap
  • Strong technology comparison and selection skills
  • Good understanding of Agile software development life-cycle, approaches and methods
  • Strong consulting skills with experience in working with internal as well as external client technical teams
  • Ideally experience with pre-sales with the ability to engage and work with new clients as our business continues to grow
