What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop Java software (web) components for Structured Products / Global Order Manager as defined by the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Drive and review technical and architectural design of global solutions, enforcing architectural design guidelines and challenge status quo
  • Test unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
  • Support the Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
  • Make sure produced code is secure, stable and operating efficiently

What You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in CS/Engineering/Science/Math preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development (analysis, development, testing, documentation)
  • Strong Java Development skills in J2SE/J2EE applications
  • Strong Database skills with moderate to complex database knowledge (preferably Oracle DB skills)
  • Experience with Scripting language (Perl, Python, Unix Shell scripting)
  • Good knowledge of open source frameworks, especially Spring suite
  • Experience working in Agile methodology and working with a SCRUM team
  • Broad understanding of clearing and settlement functions
  • Prepare technical documents and review it peers
  • Expertise in Test Driven development
  • Hands-on experience in best practices in testing and developing of good/clean code
  • Clear communication skills, written and verbal
  • Team player who works well in a diverse environment

Nice to have

  • Messaging skills. Knowledge in IBM Websphere MQ, TIBCO EMS and Kafka
  • Knowledge and experience of financial industry
