DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a DevOps Scripting Engineer for our Krakow office to make the team even stronger.

This position will require advanced technical depth and experience, technical leadership, and multi-faceted communication skills.

We’re looking for someone to help us:
• Determine software specific functional and non-functional requirements;
• Meet the highest level of operational stability and security for new software delivered into production;
• Ensure timely application readiness by working closely with our development & infrastructure teams, change & project management teams;
• Coordinate specific packaging, infrastructure requirements and application issues with our external vendors;
• Conduct application specific (infrastructure & security) data-gathering activities in connection with audit and risk management requirement;
• Proactively support business analysts and project managers to identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional application requirements;

Responsibilities

  • Build custom infrastructure solutions
  • Configure networking and security
  • Configure data storage
  • Consult customers, developer team and other DevOps engineers in technical questions, troubleshooting and SDLC process support
  • This role will perform across department boundaries, cooperating and contributing with other DevOps teams within technology and operations
  • Security model designing, implementation and audit

Requirements

  • Solid Linux system administration skills
  • Solid networking skills (VPN, routing, firewalls, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bash/Python scripting
  • DB knowledge (managing, SQL requests)
  • Intermediate experience with monitoring tools: Grafana, Zabbix, Prometheus
  • Intermediate experience with load balancers/reverse proxies (HaProxy, nginx)
  • Intermediate experience with git
