System Engineer

DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a System Engineer for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Advice and manage stakeholders on the onboarding process of additional clients to Keyport;
  • Integrate 3rd party software in client company’s environment;
  • Provide 3rd level support by analyzing and solving problems in production and test environments;
  • Cooperate closely with business representatives, business analysts and 2nd level support;
  • Perform installations on test environments and manage installations orders to production;
  • Support testing in test environments for planned software releases;
  • Keep documentation on Confluence up to date with new releases;
  • Analyze Keyport system and come up with proposal for improvements.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of shell script and Perl;
  • Basic knowledge of PLSQL and SQL;
  • Good knowledge of Tomcat, Java VM, Oracle database;
  • Good understanding of UNIX Tools (awk, sed, etc.) and IBM-MQ;
  • EBICS knowledge is an advantage;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to manage diverse workload effectively in a highly demanding environment;
  • Ability to work reliably in a collaborative, international team;
  • High level of English;
  • Knowledge of processes and tools are very welcome;
  • Knowledge of German is an advantage;
  • IT person that is used to handling complex challenges using strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills;
  • Highly motivated, confident and capable of both working independently and in a team;
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, feeling comfortable interacting with colleagues in English and German and who is capable of creating a high quality system documentation;
  • Aware of challenges of a complex IT infrastructure and constraints in an international company.
