DESCRIPTION


We are seeking an ideal Senior Business Analyst/Scrum Master – ambitious, bright and hardworking individual to join our team in Nuremberg.

The purpose of this role is to apply best practices, to support and consult the Product Owners on product’s capabilities and evolution towards the business goals. Our future team member will translate business requirements into user stories for products and features.

Your accountabilities will include supporting & consulting the business owner in shaping requirements and in understanding the impact of those; breaking down requirements into deliverables; ensuring technical feasibility and sustainability of requirements. You will be responsible to ensure feature traceability to requirements (user stories); support the business owner in the acceptance of user stories (DoR); by owning the Scrum rituals manage that the development done by the team is in line with the product objective, together with PO and scrum team. You will own the product backlog with requirements breakdown and the scope of Sprints, and you will influence the Minimum viable product (MVP) and the Solution Design.

It truly is one of the key role in the project and the ideal candidate needs to be both great listener and great communicator who can cooperate effectively with both client and delivery side translating operational language into technical terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform key communication activities with the customers, stakeholders, team members;
  • Elicit business requirements to provide innovative solutions and recommend system, product and process enhancements;
  • Investigate business processes, documentation “as-is”, model “to-be” state, assess gaps and propose improvements;
  • Create mock-ups, diagrams, wireframes;
  • Determine stakeholders influence and their attitude towards the project, solution approach, and team members. Plan communication strategy;
  • Create high quality documentation;
  • Present results of work/ideas to the stakeholders, conduct UAT and evaluation testing;
  • Understand business context of the enterprise and provide it to the development team in order to implement complex integrated enterprise solutions to meet the client’s business needs;
  • Manage solution scope, identify and assess impact, and track changes. Establish change management process where applicable;
  • Facilitate the requirements prioritization process. Effectively communicate technical risks, constraints and dependencies;
  • Collaborate with Project/Delivery Manager to align requirements management processes with project management plan for each initiative, contribute to risk management;
  • Facilitate discussions, ensure effective communication. Negotiate and build consensus; develop relationships with all the project stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 5 year of relevant experience;
  • Ability to follow and understand a defined software development process;
  • Retail enterprise business domain;
  • Agile documentation experiences: Vision, Epics, Stories, Use Cases;
  • Techniques for requirements gathering like focus groups, interviews, observation;
  • Basic database skills for simple queries, data description and analysis;
  • Basic wireframes/mockup skills;
  • Modeling skills – business process diagrams (BPMN/UML);
  • Modeling tools experience: Enterprise Architect, Visio, Balsamiq;
  • Agile (Kanban, Scrum);
  • Agile leadership with organization and presentation skills;
  • Experience in product owner role;
  • Client facing role experience;
  • Good command of English, German knowledge highly advantageous.
