Currently we are looking for a Perl Developer for our Minsk office to make the team even stronger.

So, what we are engaged into is creation and development of platforms which keep and deliver healthcare content (thematic and professional) to the end-user like doctors, nurses, students, medical labs. For instance, 97% of U.S. students of medical universities will read professional literature gotten by means of our platform. Also as example, our client provide clinical assistant platform, which helps real doctors making decisions over course of surgery. We save life!
Technologies platform is built on top of: Perl – both front-end and back-end, C++ – heart, .NET – external integrations like smart phone readers; also new UX interface, Java - middle layer between UI and back-end and core, Cloud (Azure, Amazon), Oracle.
What we expect from you: -First of all, to become a part of our big and growing team. Whole program is 65+ engineers; -To accept the challenge of writing clean code from the first attempt. Challenge accepted?
Perl development (2+ years of experience), Bash, KornShell (ksh);
Be familiar with practices of creation/maintenance of large-scale projects implemented in Perl;
Good knowledge of *NIX systems (for now Perl components are running under Solaris and are being migrated to Linux) and development/debugging processes under NIX’s;
C++ and Java skills (nice to have);
Great communication skills: we work as a real Scrum team (seriously! Almost like a team from the books about Scrum);
Good English skills (there’s also a great possibility to improve your English as we are in close contact with our customers, a couple of months and your level gets increased);
Proactivity and willingness to make the life of ordinary medical people easier.
