EPAM’s Financial Services Practice is looking for exceptionally talented people to join our team of world class engineers. Our clients are some of the world’s largest and most innovative banks, investment banks and wealth management institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Testing Framework tool to run Cucumber tests to test trading applications, enhance them and fix the existing issues;
  • Write JUnit tests for new functionality;
  • Help out QA team members with questions about Testing Framework.

Requirements

  • Programming languages: Java 8 strong knowledge, multithreading programming will be a big plus, (Perl as an option) Java technologies: Web Services, RESTful services;
  • Java tools: Maven;
  • Java Frameworks: Cucumber-JVM, Spring;
  • Development methodologies: Agile, TDD;
  • Bash shell scripting;
  • Development process and CI tools: Atlassian Jira, Bamboo;
  • Databases: Oracle PL/SQL;
  • Version Control: Git, Stash (Bitbucket server) Automation tools: Ansible;
  • Fast learner;
  • Able to communicate effectively with the team and the client;
  • Able to work with legacy code;
  • Able to discuss new approaches;
  • Able to come up with the solutions to solve particular problem/task with a team.
