Currently we are looking for a Lead Software Engineer for our Amsterdam office to make the team even stronger.
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer that plays the Key Developer and Software Architect roles, and also performs a Development Team Leader, Project Coordinator, Reviewer or Auditor role.
Work with internal clients to turn business requirements into new software solutions. Translate requirements into technical specifications and designs that can be used for software development;
Design, develop, test and support new credit risk software stack. Participate fully in the complete software development lifecycle. Ensure all releases are of a high-quality and delivered on time;
Participate in development support of existing business-critical systems;
Provide support and resolve issues for systems in production.
At least 3-5 years of relevant development experience, including UML, Modeling and Design skills, and expert knowledge of at least one technical area;
Experience with mobile application development, especially expertise in Xamarin is required;
Ability to follow, understand, and enhance a defined software development process;
Ability to read and understand project and requirement documentation;
Ability to create high-quality design, technical and project documentation including documentation of his/her code;
Ability to write high-quality non-functional requirement specifications and audit documentation;
Ability to be self-managing, take technical responsibility for a subsystem or a whole project, work without supervision and test work thoroughly using test cases;
Proven experience in evaluating theoretical knowledge and practical (on-the-job) skills and the seniority level of candidates and providing actionable feedback and recommendations on positions/projects matching;
Fluent English language skills are essential.
