DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Delivery Manager for our Kyiv office to make the team even stronger.

We welcome you to join our team creating the world-class application for one of the world’s leaders in the logistics industry. It is end-to-end ownership of the delivery starting from vision and consulting to development, testing, deployment and landing into operations.

What we create is a mission critical, a highly configurable web-based application without single point of failure. It is embedded into existing enterprise landscape with a capability to handle 5k requests per minute and 4k concurrent users with different roles across the globe. It is so important, so that it has to be up and running 24*7 with zero downtime during upgrades and failover and requires an agile architecture to support complex data handling scenarios including regulations on personal data handling across GEOs. There would be very little place on the earth with no users accessing the system we build.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation and configuration of work stream of about 30 engineers;
  • Work with business users for defining the scope and timelines;
  • Formulate and execute project plans, and manage cross-functional project teams across multiple geographies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with at least 3+ years in IT project management;
  • Excellent project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management;
  • Solid knowledge of software development life cycle;
  • Extensive experience in managing projects with at least 10-12-month duration;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to manage the cross functional team consisting of developers, vendors, and business users;
  • Experience with issue resolution across multiple locations and businesses;
  • Demonstrated skills in client relationship management and ability to manage, direct and command respect from technical and delivery team members;
  • Ability to engage with the client in technology discussions;
  • Solid experience in implementing enterprise wide, custom applications with global teams;
  • Experience in managing implementation challenges in the area of integration, design, configurability, and infrastructure;
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies in a short time.
